Five Models We Can’t Wait To Try In 2025

2025 is shaping up to be an exciting year in the car industry! From newly electrified nameplates to upgraded icons, we can’t wait to get behind the wheel of the latest models in our lineup.

2025 Ramcharger REx

Two years ago, Ram unveiled their all-new electric pickup: the 2025 Ramcharger REx. While we’ve been patiently awaiting its arrival, Ram has been revolutionizing their EV technology to bring unprecedented levels of power and performance to the pickup segment by blending the best of electric with the best of internal combustion.
Finally hitting Canadian highways this year, it’s safe to say this truck was well worth the wait. Here’s what we’re so amped up about:

Best-In-Class Range

The first-ever electrified Ramcharger comes ready to go the distance with a 92 kWh battery pack and on-board 130kW generator. Reaching up to 1,110 kilometers on a full charge, Ram’s pickup sets the new standard with its targeted best-in-class range. There's no EV range anxiety here because the Ramcharger can always rely on its onboard generator to keep you on the move.

Best-In-Class Performance

While it’s officially considered a “light-duty” truck, the 2025 Ramcharger packs a heavy punch. Go from 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 4.4 seconds with 663 horsepower and over 615 lb.-ft. of torque without skipping a beat. And the best part? You won’t have to worry about leaving any gear behind with best-in-class towing (up to 14,000 lbs.) and best-in-class maximum payload capacity (2,625 lbs.).

2026 Honda Passport Trailsport

Did you know the Passport was Honda's first SUV in North America? After 30 years of rough, rugged adventure, the 2026 Honda Passport Trailsport has been completely reimagined to make off-road exploration easier than ever.

What’s New For 2026?

Take on tough terrain with a more powerful 3.5-liter DOHC V6 engine, high-strength 10-speed automatic transmission, and specialized tech to maximize off-road capability. Plus, you’ll enjoy more legroom, storage space, and premium touches like the standard 10.2-inch digital driver instrumentation display and 12.3-inch HD touchscreen with Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto™ compatibility.

Don’t Call It A Comeback

While we’re not about to turn the clock back on cutting edge technology, the new Passport marks the return of one of its most iconic features: the stowable picnic table. Bringing this classic component to their new line of cargo accessories, the latest version of the Passport is available with a modular storage and shelving system that transforms into a sturdy, four-person picnic table so you and your family can refuel on the run.

2026 Kia EV9 GT

Practical and powerful? Kia’s all-electric, three-row SUV is almost too good to be true. Almost. Coming to Canada later this year, the award-winning EV9 lineup is expanding with a sporty new addition: the 2026 Kia EV9 GT.

Function Meets Fun

Whether you’re sightseeing in the city or taking the road less traveled, the new EV9 GT comes fully equipped for a truly spirited driving experience. Dual electric motors deliver an estimated 501 horsepower and 545 lb.-ft. of torque thanks to Kia’s new e-Shift paddle shifter technology, launching you from 0-100 kilometers per hour in only 4.6 seconds. Worried about battery breaks? The entire EV9 lineup comes standard with 800-volt fast charging, which means you only need 25 minutes to charge from 10% to 80% before you’re back on your way.

Distinct Design

Kia’s sporty new electric SUV not only boasts a higher level of performance, it comes with its own unique exterior and interior design elements. Bright green accents highlight the exclusive 21-inch alloy wheels, steering wheel, and suede seating. The cabin also features a unique ambient lighting scheme and lighting patterns updated via Kia’s over-the-air-update technology.

2025 Mazda MX-5

Mazda has introduced a number of new models over the last few years including the CX-50, CX-90, and the recently released CX-70. Their reputation as an innovator is only rivalled by their long-standing status as a champion of a classic and immersive driving experience. And what vehicle is a better representation of this commitment than the best-selling roadster of all time?

Meet The 2025 MX-5 Miata

Upgrades to its steering, engine, and transmission paired with interior and exterior design updates mean “Mazda is confident that the 2025 MX-5 is the best one yet.” The latest lineup of Miatas will come with a Skyactiv-G 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine across all trim levels, producing 181 horsepower and 151 lb.-ft. of torque.

35th Anniversary Edition

An exclusive 35th Anniversary Edition model will be also available for 2025, featuring a bespoke colour palette and enhanced leather interior, among other upgrades for a more elevated experience. Stay tuned as Mazda reveals the full details while they showcase this limited-edition coupe at the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona following the Mazda MX-5 Cup series race on Friday, January 24, 2025.

2025 Nissan Murano

If there’s one vehicle on the list that’s taking “new year, new me,” to heart, it’s the 2025 Nissan Murano. Now available in Canada, the fourth-generation Murano debuts a fresh look, new technology, and a cabin chock-full of premium features.

Sanctuary Made Standard

Embodying the brand’s “elevated elegance” design philosophy, the all-new Nissan Murano promises to deliver a premium experience without the premium price tag. Starting at $48,998, here are a few of the comforts you’ll enjoy across all trim levels:

  • Massaging front seats
  • Dual 12.3-inch displays
  • Google built-in (including Google Maps), Wireless Apple CarPlay® and wireless Android Auto™
  • 64-colour interior ambient lighting
  • Colour head-up display

More Than Meets The Eye

While you’re sure to turn heads in the latest Murano, the crossover’s underhood upgrades will leave you feeling more confident and capable behind the wheel than ever before. Rated for 241 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque, the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo comes standard, along with Nissan’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, 3D Intelligent Around View® Monitor, and Nissan Safety Shield® 360.
