The 2021 Kia Seltos has just arrived on the market and it has a lot of features to please buyers and meet their needs. Let’s take a closer look at what allows the new Seltos to stand out.
Unlike rival brands whose products are all alike, the Seltos has its own style. The front, both robust and stylish, incorporates a variety of LED lighting elements as standard on the vast majority of variants such as automatic front LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED fog lights. At the rear, LED lights are also dominant.
Several rivals offer only one choice of engine and one choice of transmission in this segment, which limits possibilities and does not meet the needs of potential buyers. The Kia Seltos offers two engine choices, starting with the naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder that develops 146 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. This engine is married to the Kia CVT continuously variable transmission.
For more performance, buyers can opt for the four-cylinder 1.6-litre turbocharged engine that develops 175 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque. The latter option comes with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Finally, the majority of the models in the Seltos range are available with all-wheel drive. This is not the case for several competitors.
The 2021 Kia Seltos combines space and technology in its interior. Advanced collision avoidance assistance and optional lane departure warning and prevention are examples of advanced technologies included in the Seltos. Behind the tailgate, the Kia Seltos hides 752 litres of cargo space, which is well above most models in the segment including the Honda HR-V, Hyundai Kona, Toyota C-HR, Nissan Qashqai, Nissan Kicks, and Mazda CX-30.
Another element worth mentioning is the Seltos’ warranty. Indeed, the Kia Seltos is protected for 5 years or 100,000 km which gives you complete peace of mind.
