Video: 2023 Mazda CX-50 On PEI's Dirt Roads With Centennial's Own Kelly Dowling

At Centennial Mazda, the heart and soul of Mazda is at the forefront of everything we do, which is why a red 1990 Miata is always front and centre in our showroom. But the new Mazda CX-50 – the all-new, first-ever, 2023 Mazda CX-50 delivers something, well, distinctly different. Something extra.

The CX-50 wants to keep going when the pavement ends.

Meet Centennial's first 2023 Mazda CX-50 and its owner, our very own Marketing & Events Manager, Kelly Dowling, as we leave the showroom in search of the CX-50's natural habitat. Did you know that while PEI stretches only a couple hundred kilometres across, there are more than 1,500 kilometres of dirt roads? We spent time filming Kelly's CX-50 both inside Centennial Mazda's showroom and also in rural parts of Prince and Queens counties, almost exclusively off pavement. Where did we go?

After the indoor shots on Mount Edward Road, our outdoor locations included CooCoo's cabin in Clinton (or is it Norboro?); a number of dirt roads in Margate, Burlington, and Spring Valley (Rte 104, Ramsay Road, Maceachern Road, Leards Mill Road, Holmes Road, Millman Road); spent time between Cape Tryon and Yankee Hill in French River; and completed the filming on the wharf in New London.
