Centennial Carstar Is The Carstar Franchisee Of The Year For 2022
August 08 2022, Centennial Carstar
If you've spent any time in one of Centennial's Carstar locations over the last four decades, you'll recognize a few of the faces from Carstar's Conference 2022 video on YouTube.
For just a few seconds, Ezra Kember, David Kember, and David Burton appear on screen from their on-stage moment at July's Carstar Conference 2022 in Nashville, Tennessee. Why was Centennial highlighted at the first Carstar conference in three years? In a surprise announcement, we were absolutely thrilled to learn that Centennial Carstar was chosen as Canada's Carstar Franchisee Of The Year for 2022.
"It was really an amazing surprise to find out we won this award, surely the biggest honour we’ve ever received," says Dave Kember, Centennial Auto Group Managing Partner. "It’s great to receive the recognition from Carstar, but we really have to thank our customers most of all for choosing – and trusting – Centennial Carstar."
Centennial's work in the world of automotive collision goes back to the very beginning of the company's existence. In 1979, when Ira and Ezra Kember launched in Summerside with the purchase of property on South Drive, Centennial was actually a Volkswagen dealer and an auto body shop. Centennial Auto Body expanded to Charlottetown in 1987 and became part of the Carstar network in 2004.
Fast forward to 2022 and Centennial Carstar now encompasses two PEI locations (Summerside and Charlottetown), three locations in New Brunswick (Moncton, Riverview, Dieppe), and three Nova Scotia locations (Dartmouth, Truro, New Glasgow.) Read More: Centennial Carstar Expansion Alert
