Every EV Coming To Centennial Auto Group In The Next Two Years

Electric vehicles have never been more center-stage than they are right now. As the world continues to focus on making positive environmental changes, it seems certain that EVs are the future of driving. So we’re giving you front-row access to each of our brands’ EVs expected to be released in the next two years. Some are still in concept form, while others have already hit the road in limited numbers. If you’re thinking about making the change to charge, take a look at what’s coming to Canada in the near future.

Nissan Ariya

Nissan’s first all-electric crossover SUV has been piquing our interest since its reveal in 2020. Hailed as “a cornerstone to the Nissan NEXT global transformation plan,” the 2023 Nissan Ariya represents the brand’s new electrified identity, “where electrification, optimized platform packaging and seamless vehicle technology are standard.”

The Ariya builds off of the Nissan Leaf’s groundbreaking EV technology, and will be available in four trim levels, each standard equipped with the choice of an advanced liquid-cooled 63 kWh or 87 kWh Lithium-Ion battery, CCS quick charge port, available ProPILOT Assist 2.03, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wired Android Auto, a lounge-like premium interior and Nissan Safety Shield 360. Boasting a range over 480 kilometers, the 2023 Nissan Ariya will be a sleek and powerful on-road presence when it arrives in Canada in late 2022.

Kia EV6

Over the last few years, Kia has been making a name for themselves as an industry leader when it comes to engineering vehicles that are as capable as they are eye-catching. Not only that, but Kia is one of the only manufacturers who seems to have mastered balancing luxury with affordability. And the 2022 Kia EV6 is no exception. As Kia’s first dedicated EV, the EV6 “signals the beginning of the brand’s transformative ‘Plan S’ electrification strategy,” that aims to deliver 11 all-new electrified models across the world by 2026.

Making its Canadian debut in the spring of 2022, the Kia EV6 is estimated to be one of the fastest-charging electric vehicles on the market. It’s 77.4 kWh battery has a range of up to 480 kilometers when fully charged, and can charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes. But it doesn’t stop there. Kia’s electrified crossover sports a whopping 576 horsepower and can go from 0-100 kilometers per hour in just 3.5 seconds.

Mazda MX-30

A lucky, but limited number of Quebec and BC drivers have already gotten to experience Mazda’s first fully electric no-emission vehicle, but the rest of us will have to wait for the 2022 Mazda MX-30 to make its Canada-wide debut in 2022. Mazda’s electrified SUV pushes the boundaries of Kodo design (“soul of motion”), while keeping the principles of Jinba Ittai (the harmonious feeling of “oneness” between car and driver) top of mind.

Featuring bold, futuristic styling, freestyle doors, and Mazda’s innovative e—Skyactiv EV Technology, the MX-30 will be available in two trim levels - GS and GT. Each model carries a range of up to 161 kilometers on their fully charged 35.5 kWh lithium-ion battery along with a torquey 143 horsepower output to “deliver a drive you’ll anticipate day after day.” This sleek and sporty SUV’s battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 36 minutes.

Honda Prologue

The 2024 Honda Prologue is Honda’s first fully-electric vehicle in their upcoming series of EVs that targets “a 100% zero-emission Honda lineup in North America by 2040.” Though the Prologue isn’t scheduled for Canadian release until 2024, here’s what we know so far:

- The Honda Prologue is likely to take shape as a compact or mid-size SUV.

- Thanks to a new partnership with GM, the Honda Prologue will use the same Ultium battery packs as future GM EVs.

- If the Prologue uses the same 100 kWh battery as the GM-manufactured Cadillac Lyriq, we can expect a driving range over 480 kilometers on a fully charged battery.

President and CEO of Honda Canada, Jean Marc Leclerc says “The Prologue is a battery-electric SUV that will provide our Canadian customers with what they expect from Honda; an exciting, reliable, safe and fun to drive vehicle.” Stay tuned as we keep you up to date with the latest information on Honda’s upcoming era of EVs as more details become available.
