More Proof That Kia Canada Is Booming In 2020: September's Results

It's an exciting time to be in the Kia business, as Kia's constant unveiling of in-demand products are powering the brand to new heights across Canada.

At the very beginning of summer, Kia Canada announced that June 2020 was the brand's best month ever. 8,647 Kias were sold in June, only a few months after the pandemic was causing a collapse in auto sales across Canada.

Kia's experience, however, was quite different.

The ridiculously strong June results were then followed up by best-ever July results. 8,300 Kias were sold in July 2020... One month later, June's status as the best month ever was suspended. In August 2020, Kia reported 8,780 sales, more Kias than had ever been sold in any month in history in Canada... And to top it off, the 8,010 Kias sold in Canada last month made September 2020 the best September in the company's two+ decades of operation.

Given the prevailing challenges of 2020, how did Kia produce such abnormally successful results?

With great products. Just consider the Seltos, which was launched right at the beginning of the pandemic era and has already become Kia Canada's best-selling model. The Seltos produced over 1,800 sales in September – tops among Kias.

Kia's latest product offensive began with the all-new 2019 Forte, continued with an all-new Soul and the brand new Telluride for 2020, moved into the Seltos launch phase, will soon continue with the arrival of the all-new all-wheel-drive K5 sedan, and then culminates in the launch of an all-new Sorento toward the end of the year.
