Expansion Alert: PEI Is Now Home To Centennial Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Centennial Auto Group, based in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, begins its 45th year in business with the acquisition of Kings County Chrysler.

Centennial Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram becomes the company’s sixth new vehicle dealership. Centennial Auto Group also operates two Auto-Sport & Tire powersports stores and two Auto Wash locations in Prince Edward Island as well as 10 Carstar collision centres across the Maritimes. Centennial now sells vehicles under the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Honda, Nissan, Mazda, and Kia banners.

“We’re excited to introduce four new brands to our existing family of customers, and we’re excited to introduce the Centennial brand to the eastern end of the Island,” says Tyler Kember, Centennial’s managing partner for dealerships. “Kings County Chrysler has many longstanding relationships in the Three Rivers area. We look forward to fostering those relationships and building new ones in the years to come.”

Centennial is both family-owned and Island-owned. Beginning with a small pre-owned business and body shop in Enmore, Prince Edward Island, in the 1970s, Ira and Ezra Kember now employ more than 280 people across the Maritimes. There are three generations of Kembers working with Centennial, including four sons – two of Ira’s; two of Ezra’s – who are now the company’s four managing partners.

Centennial Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram will continue uninterrupted daily operations at 5128 A.A. MacDonald Highway.
