Nissan Canada Reports All-Time Canadian Sales Record in 2017

More SUVs and more crossovers. More 370Zs and Versas. More Titans and Frontiers. More Canadians acquired new Nissans in 2017 than at any point in the company's history.

Record Nissan sales of 134,244 vehicles represented a 10-percent surge from the previous record high set just one year ago in 2016. Vehicle-specific records were set by the Rogue, Murano, Armada, Frontier, and Titan.

The Titan full-size truck lineup, where a V8 is standard equipment, doubled its annual sales volume in 2017. The Frontier pickup, the prime example of midsize truck toughness, posted a fourth consecutive year of growth.

Sales of the full-size Armada SUV grew 54 percent, topping the 1,000-sale mark for the first time ever with 1,105 sales. Murano demand continues to expand as more Canadians become acquainted with its impressive blend of comfort, refinement, content, power, and value - sales grew 9 percent higher than the previous record performance. And the Rogue, Nissan's best-selling model, soared to 43,418 sales in 2017, smashing records set by the Rogue in each of the past seven years.
