This Is The 2023 Kia Sportage - Predictably Stunning Kia Design, X-Line Availability, Futuristic Interior

It's the longest-running nameplate in the Kia lineup. Since 1993, and across four generations, the Sportage has cemented its status as the foundation of Kia. And now it's time for an all-new model, revealed in June 2021 and set to launch in early 2022 as a 2023 model.

We could make a wide variety of assumptions about potential powertrains, price points, available technology, and trim levels. (We assume the entry-level engine will be the 2.5 from the Sorento, we expect pricing to slot in between the Seltos and Sorento, we believe there will be key advancements such as Highway Drive Assist and UVO Intelligence connected car services, and we're almost certain there will be a dedicated X-Line model.)

Or, we could just look at a bunch of pretty pictures. The fifth-gen Sportage is a stunner, a follow-up both to conventionally handsome Kias such as the Forte and Telluride and more unexpectedly edgy Kias such as the new Carnival and Sorento.

We'll provide more updates as we receive more information on the next-gen 2023 Sportage.
