This Is The Revamped 2021 Nissan Kicks: Unbeatable Value Becomes Even More Unbeatable
December 08 2020, Centennial Nissan
Since its introduction in 2018, the Nissan Kicks has been a huge hit in Canada. It's now Nissan Canada's second-best-selling product, and it's a dominant nameplate in PEI's small crossover category. The Kicks' driving experience majors on fun but also offers an unexpected level of refinement. There's a crazy amount of interior space given the Kicks' tidy exterior dimensions. It's obviously fuel efficient, as well.
But the Kicks is perhaps best known for its value quotient. Priced under $20,000, the Kicks offers a wide array of standard equipment, and even the top-spec Kicks SR slots in under the $25,000 mark.
For 2021, however, Nissan is making the Kicks even better. This will be the fourth model year for Nissan Kicks in Canada, and Nissan is upping its game with Nissan's new Double V-motion grille, added LED lighting up front and at the rear, new wheel designs, a new rear bumper design, and new colours. In fact, there will be three new exterior colours along with three additional two-tone Kicks colour options.
Nissan Safety Shield 360 will now be standard on each of the three Kicks trim levels: S, SV, and SR. Safety Shield 360 includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic braking, rear emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and auto high beams. There are other upgrades, as well, including rear disc brakes and an electronic parking brake (with Auto Brake Hold) on both of the upper trim levels.
The 2021 Kicks is expected to begin arriving at Centennial Nissan showrooms in Summerside and Charlottetown as early as February 2021.
